Yes, this is intentionally set in the workflow. Consult advice cannot be added for appointments categorized as 'missed'. This is required as per common telemedicine guidelines as start time and stop time of the consult cannot be logged. 


ConnectCare automatically books another appointment within 45 minutes of the missed appointment slot if there is an available slot in your calendar. If not, it is suggested that you contact the assigned patient care admin from your organization to get the appointment booked again.
