We understand the consultations with some patients might require more time. The schedule more time feature is for such scenarios. When you click on this feature, ConnectCare finds the next open slot in your calendar and books a free follow-up appointment for the patient, and lets you know what time the appointment has been booked. This allows you to inform the patient when you will be calling them back and return to the rest of the upcoming appointments in your schedule for the day.  


Once you schedule more time successfully, it is important that you mark this in the advice and finish the existing consultation. You can select "Extended tele-consultation" as the type and click Finish Consult. If you don't do this, the appointment will remain in your ongoing appointments list.
