It is the patient's responsibility to make themselves available in the scheduled time slot. In case they are not answering, you have the option of marking 'Patient Attended' as 'No'. This will allow you to finish the consult without entering any other fields in advice. Here is a screenshot of how this option can look when set to 'No'.
